Toddlerhood

Eliot is officially not a baby anymore, I think.... He's taken a turn into toddlerhood, full of opinions and self determination. He also now has 10 teeth!

He likes going places with us, but pretty much refuses to be carried anymore. He is a very capable stander and cruiser, and a speedy crawler, but has only take one or two tentative steps without holding something. His quest for independance however, may push him into overcoming the perils of walking soon.

Eliot has also recently decided that he prefers tobe naked. We really only allow this during post bath time, and he takes full advantage of his freedom to wander about.

We did a little photo shoot near our house at a place where St. Augustine's church once was. I'm waiting with great anticipation for the professional pics, but here's one I took while we were waiting!

Toddlerhood also has meant a new found obsession with Daddy. Derek is by far Eliot's most favorite person these days. One favorite pastime is to open Derek's wallet in the mornings, meticulously go through each card, and then hold up Derek's driver's license and say "da-da!"
