The house only had one bathroom and one half bath when we moved in, so we had the bathroom in the basement expanded into a full bath. Those of you who saw the previous half bath will be particularly impressed; those of you who didn't, envision a seafoam greem toilet and matching sink on a concrete floor... We've done a major face lift.

Renovations
We bought a pretty little house in Arlington, Virginia last summer when we got back from Afghanistan. The house was built in 1939, and is in a lovely neighborhood. It's been really great to have a small town feel just 10 minutes from downtown DC, and we've really loved it. Since we're getting ready to move overseas again, we are renting the house, which is particularly sad since we just finished doing some renovations. Or I should say Bill, our contractor did.
